Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept Visa and MasterCard and you may be re-directed to complete 'Verified By Visa' or 'Mastercard Secure Code' checks as part of the checkout process.

If you do not wish to pay online, you may send your card information via phone, fax or by post but please note delivery must be made to the REGISTERED CARDHOLDERS ADDRESS is the order is not put through the website.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send out your goods. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on dispatch to you of the products ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it (please refer to Returns and refunds).

The price payable for the goods ordered are as set out on our web site at the time you place your order, unless separately agreed between us in writing, plus any charges for carriage or insurance as set out in the order form. The price of commodity goods, such as copper, might change due to market conditions, but in these instances we will confirm and agree the prevailing price with you before accepting your order. We reserve the right to decline any orders received, or in some instances agree with you a limit on the order quantity. Should a technical error arise on our website, so that goods appear with an incorrect price, we will not be obliged to supply the goods at the incorrect price stated. Unless you are an account customer, we must receive payment for the whole of the price of the goods you order, including any carriage or other charges, before your order can be processed. We accept no liability if a delivery is delayed because you did not give us the correct payment details.

Cancellation rights

Consumers have the legal right under the Distance Selling Regulations to cancel their order within seven working days starting the day after delivery of the goods (with the exception of any made to order items). Account customers may cancel their order by giving us notice of cancellation within thirty days of the receipt of goods. Notice may be given by email, post, telephone or fax. If you cancel because there is a problem with the goods, please provide full details of the problem, at the time of cancellation. On cancellation for whatever reason, you must return the goods to us at your cost unless we agree that you can dispose of them, in which case any instructions given by the manufacturer must be complied with if the goods are hazardous in any way. When goods are returned because they have been supplied incorrectly or they are faulty, we will meet the cost of their return, but we reserve the right to nominate the carrier.

Exclusion of liability

If you have notified us of any problem with the goods in accordance with clause 15 we will either; replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective; refund to you any amounts paid for the goods; or we will correct any shortage or failure to deliver any goods. We will not be liable to you for any loss of profits, administrative inconvenience, disappointment, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any problem in relation to the goods. We shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation, other than any refund we make under these conditions, and except as required by statute. Any disclaimers and exclusions of liability in these terms and conditions shall not apply to any damages arising from death or personal injury caused by negligence, or to any losses arising from fraudulent misrepresentation.

Risk and ownership

The risk of loss or damage to any of the goods passes to you at the time of delivery, including failure to accept the delivery at the agreed time: the time in which we try to deliver. You will only own the goods once they have been successfully delivered and when we have received cleared payment in full, and no other amounts are still due to us from you. Until title to the goods passes from us, you will hold the goods on a fiduciary basis as bailee and you will store the goods at your own cost separately from all other goods in your possession, these goods will be marked in such a way that they are clearly identified as our property.

You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

We endeavour to hold sufficient stock to satisfy all orders, but all items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available. We might agree with you that a substitute product is supplied, but otherwise we will refund any payment made by you promptly or in the case of an account customer a credit will be issued.

Force Majeure

We shall have no liability to you for any failure or delay in supply or delivery or for any damage or defects to goods supplied or delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control (including without limitation, strikes, lockouts and other industrial disputes).

Further supplies and deliveries may be stopped, including any goods in transit, and we may terminate our contract in writing, if you are in breach of any obligation under these terms and conditions. This also applies if you become unable to pay your debts when they fall due or if proceedings are commenced against you in respect of your possible bankruptcy or insolvency. Upon termination, any amounts due from you to us will become immediately payable and we shall be under no further obligation to supply goods to you.

Returns Policy Returns Form & Returns Numbers

When returning a product you will need a returns number, this will allow our warehouse department to expect your returned product and know who it has come from. If you e-mail we will send one by return.

Returns Policy - Changed your mind

You may return your order within 7 working days from the day following delivery, subject to the following conditions and returns procedure:

• You have obtained a returns number. The returns number must be clearly highlighted on the outside of the package in such a way that it does not damage the original retail packaging.
• The goods must be returned to us in plain outer packaging, with no labels stuck on the manufacturers’ box.
• When the goods are returned to our warehouse they will be inspected to ensure all parts are present and in a good condition.
• After informing us within the 7 working day period, 'in line with Distance Selling Regulations' you then have a further 5 working days for the goods to be returned to us at Trading Depot.
• We will then issue you a full refund for the good’s that have been returned.
• If the goods have been dispatched to you and then you have ‘changed your mind' you are responsible for the cost of sending back the items to us.
• Any costs incurred to us for the refusal of a courier delivery will be deductable from your refund.

Returns Policy - Damaged Goods / Items Missing

Nearly all our orders arrive on time and in the same excellent condition they left our warehouse. However items can get damaged in transit and whilst often it is only the packaging that is damaged, the products themselves are occasionally affected. Items also can occasionally get misrouted or lost in transit.

For all orders that are delivered by carriers:

• You agree to open all the boxes and check the goods for damages or missing items on the day of delivery.
• Trading Depot must be notified within 7 days of the delivery, if we are NOT notified within 7 days we are unable to claim from either the manufacturer or the carrier. You agree to indemnify us in full for any losses we suffer because of your failure to notify us within 7 days.

For large items delivered on pallets and bathroom sanitary wear:

• You agree to check the goods for damage before signing the drivers’ delivery note. Writing ‘unchecked’ is still considered that the goods have been received in good condition and later claims for damages will not be considered. If the driver refuses to wait whilst you check the goods then you must refuse the delivery and contact us at If someone else is signing for the goods on your behalf you agree to advise them to check all the goods and you accept full responsibility for any loss or damage if they sign on your behalf and fail to check. You indemnify us in full for any losses we suffer as a result of you or your agent accepting goods and signing a delivery.

Returns Policy - Faulty Goods

In the unfortunate event you receive a faulty item please see below for our procedures:

• If an item has or develops a fault within the warranty period, please contact the manufacturer directly to arrange a repair or replacement. In most cases the manufacturer will arrange a collection and repair at no cost to yourself.

Whilst we are more than happy to return faulty items to the manufacturer on your behalf, this does add an additional layer of administration to the repair process and ultimately increases the overall repair time (this can sometimes take around 2-4 weeks). For this reason we recommend you return any faulty products directly to the manufacturer.

If the faulty item is returned to us:

• All goods are tested on return to verify the fault and always before a replacement or refund is processed. We will refund the costs of the goods and the delivery charge if the goods are tested and proven to be faulty by the manufacturers. Any goods proven to be non-faulty will be returned to you.
